Workshop Supply List

Important to read: Following are the watercolor pigments and brushes I use to create my paintings but it’s not necessary to replicate this list exactly. Please feel free to bring the pigments you already have along with round brushes in small, medium and large sizes as well as a liner brush and a palette knife.

Sketch pad

Soft lead pencil, sharpener and eraser

Hard support like Gator Board to hold watercolor paper (not necessary for watercolor blocks)

Watercolor palette

Water container

Black marker pen

Paper towels and/or tissues

Small palette knife like used for oil painting (I use one in every painting)

Several favorite photographs that you have taken yourself to be used for inspiration, not to paint from. Print out one or two in very light color or black and white on plain computer paper for compositional purposes.

Arches watercolor paper in 8×10 or 9×12 for studies and 12×16 for final work if  desired but not necessary.

Arches watercolor blocks in various sizes are great and I really like to use them
