Last year we spent a couple of months traveling down the Pacific Coast Highway and stopped to spend time in Cambria, California. While there we decided to take a drive out Santa Rosa Creek Road to visit a farm we had heard about, and I’m glad we did. The landscape was unforgettable and I had time to sketch and take photos for later paintings. I just completed this large 22×30″ original watercolor painting using a small study done earlier in preparation for this larger work. I hope I have captured the peacefulness of that old country road.
