Watercolor Workshop at Star Harbor

Cambria Countryside ColorTwo day spent with the Star Harbor Watercolor Group demonstrating and teaching my watercolor technique was so much fun! How great for me to be able to spend those days with such a dynamic and enthusiastic group painting and sharing a mutual love of watercolor painting. A wonderful lunch was provided each day and a golf cart and access to the golf course, which was just across the street, was even made available to my husband who always comes along to help me with the many details of setting up my workshop. I’ve included a sceneĀ  from the workshop and the watercolor painting I demonstrated the first day. Star Harbor ladies if you are reading this blog then thank you once again for such a lovely and unforgettable experience!

Now I know why I gave up watercolor…..because I could never handle it as you do. My medium is now pastel and oil even though my heart still belongs to the clear, jewel color of watercoler when it is handled well. Now and then I do a small one.

Thank you Roxanne for your very kind comments. I enjoyed visiting your website as well and loved your pastel paintings. I’ve always been drawn to that medium and would like to try them one day soon…Joyce
