Vineyard Farm in Cambria, California

A quiet and peaceful drive out Santa Rosa Creek Road in Cambria, California. Below is a photo of the farm that inspired the original watercolor painting “Vineyard Farm in Cambria, California.” Visit my 2008 Blog to read about my travels down the Pacific Coast Highway in search of Beautiful Places to Paint.

This was my g-g-grandfather’s house between circa 1865-1885 Oliver Perry (OP) McFadden his wife Victoria Bland and their 7 children. He moved to San Miguel in the late 1880′s and died in 1892. He is buried in the cemetery across the freeway from the San Miguel Mission. . This is an amazing painting… is it for sale or are their prints of it… I would love to own this.
Thank You

Thank you Paul for sharing the wonderful history of the Cambria Farm. When we visited the area I was so attracted to it and have painted several versions. Let me know which version you are interested in and I will make it available for you as a Fine Art Print on Fine Art America. They do a wonderful job reproducing my paintings….Joyce
