Painting from my imagination

I love all flowers but especially roses. I have them around my home and was thinking about how I would like to put in more next Spring which led me to wanting to paint flowers. I especially like to paint from my imagination as it is so freeing not to be bound by earthly images but only by those dreamed or imagined. Painting “Perfect Companions” was totally spontaneous and a joy to paint.
