From my small watercolor study Blackberries by the Sea I finished a large 18×24 original watercolor painting. The farm shown in my photo below was the inspiration for my painting and sits on the Pacific Coast Highway between Point Arena and Westport, California. We stopped there long enough for me to get photos and make quick sketches before continuing our journey down the coast. “Pacific View and Blackberries Too” has been juried into the Southwestern Watercolor Societies 46th Annual Exhibition and received Honorable Mention in the International WAS-H 2010 Exhibition in Houston, TX. Images below show the paintings evolution.

Hi Suzy…I wasn’t able to make the reception either so I’m really looking forward to receiving the shows catalog to see all the paintings that got into the exhibit. I visited your website last night and enjoyed your beautiful watercolor paintings. Thank you for taking the time to leave your comment….Joyce
