New original watercolor painting of Virginia farmhouse and garden
Friday, December 11th, 2009 | Posted in: paintings of beautiful places
One of the many idyllic scenes I saw as we made our way through the Virginia countryside. An old blue farmhouse with yellow trim caught my eye and imagination and I knew I wanted to paint it. I’ve included one of the photos I took that beautiful, sunny day so you might see the scene as it actually was. As you see I used artistic license and a dose of imagination to create the unique vision held in my mind’s eye. I hope you will enjoy my new 22×30 painting “A Farmhouse I Saw in Virginia” as much as I enjoyed painting it.
