Just finished, a new original oil painting

Texas Plain and SimpleWhile living in the Texas Hill Country I never gave much notice to an old neglected farmhouse I passed frequently on my way into town. It sat at the back of a dry field and appeared lonely and all but forgotten. But one day in late Summer the yellow Texas wildflowers came into full bloom and it now sat proudly in a field of yellow gold. We lived in the area for two more Summers, but I never saw the field bloom so abundantly and vividly that way again. I hope you will enjoy this new 18×24 oil painting I shall call “Texas Plain and Simple.”
