While traveling through Virginia we came upon a sign pointing down a country road which we decided to explore. The sign read Greenwood, Virginia and while traveling it we saw rolling hills with distant farms and about 2 miles in we came upon a beautiful vineyard. The next day we followed the scenic Skyline Drive and saw more spectacular scenery. Virginia is even more beautiful than I had imagined. I have included images of the paintings progress for those who may be interested. Even though it cannot be seen in the photo, the vineyard is just around the bend so I decided to paint it as I envisioned it. Visit the Shop for Fine Art Prints and Note Cards.
