Coastal Cottages in Waldport

Sold A sun drenched day in Waldport, Oregon inspired my painting “Oregon Coastal Cottages.” Below is the photo of the scene that inspired it. The sea is there at the end of the road but cannot be seen due to the brightness blending sea and sky together. Even though the photo is rather bland, if you could have been there with me you would have felt the same awesome beauty that I wanted to capture in my original watercolor painting.The photo I took along with my unique memories of the day goes into the creation of each painting I do.
