On the road again!

We are leaving our home here in Tyler, Texas tomorrow morning for a wonderful month of leisurely travel. It is so hot here in East Texas right now that we are definitely headed for cooler weather. We will make our way North to visit places like Taos, Durango, Mesa Verde, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion National Parks. I’ve always wanted to visit Yellowstone too so we may add that to our itinerary as well. I’ll take lots of photos, sketch and paint studies for a new series of paintings once back home.

Thinking of this makes my head spin with the beautiful places I’m going to see. I’m inspired just thinking about it, but being able to see the places up close and personal will be even better.
