2010 Travel Plans

Now that the holiday season is past we are beginning to think about what beautiful places we might want to travel to this year. One idea for Spring or early Summer might be to make our way South along the coastal highway to the tip of the Florida Keys. Salt air, white sand, seashells, turquoise water, fresh seafood and lazy days always leave me inspired. Maybe a journey in the opposite direction North to Colorado to see Mesa Verde National Park for archaeological sites, mesa top pueblos and mountain vistas would be fun too. I have always wanted to visit Yellowstone and we could easily add that destination to our itinerary as well.

Our Fall travel plans will include the Eastern Shore to travel the coastal road along the Atlantic for visits to Nantucket, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and any other villages we can find along the way. We will plan to time it so that we can be in the Vermont area to witness the Fall foliage as it begins it’s awesome show of color before making our way back home to Tyler, Texas.

Thinking of all this makes my head spin with all the beautiful places I will see. I am inspired to paint just thinking about it but being able to see it all up close and personal will be even better yet. Our plans will become more definite as Spring draws near so please check back for dates of departure. As aways I will share our travel experiences here on my blog with photos and text along the way.
