Slightly overcast the day we visited the Carmel Mission only enhances it’s ancient beauty.
Looking back toward the entry and the arch.
The gardens inside the mission grounds were awsome to see.

I wanted to go inside the old Carmel Mission, but there was a wedding being held there that day.
A better look at the beautiful arch with two statues on either side.
Daisies, so fresh and new were a delightful contrast against the old but ageless wall.
The flowering vine hugging the Carmel Mission wall had blooms that were the most unbelievable red I have ever seen.
Blooming flowers of every description greeted us at every turn.
To walk along this old mission hallway was a wonderful experience and one I shall never forget.
